The Short Version

I don't sell your data. I don't share your email. I collect the bare minimum to make the site work and to send you the newsletter if you signed up for it. That's it. Now here's the legally-required longer version.

What Data I Collect

When you use Biscuits & Bandwidth, I may collect the following:

• Information you voluntarily provide: When you fill out the contact form, sign up for the newsletter, or use any other form on this site, I collect whatever information you enter — typically your name, email address, and any message content.
• Automatically collected information: Like most websites, this site may collect standard technical information through its hosting platform — including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This is anonymized analytics, not personally identifiable data tied to you specifically.

How I Use Your Data

Your information is used only for:

• Responding to messages you send through the contact form
• Sending the newsletter if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe anytime with one click)
• Understanding general traffic patterns so I know which pages are useful (aggregate analytics)
• Keeping the site running and secure

What I DON'T Do With Your Data

• Sell it to anyone, ever
• Share it with third parties for marketing purposes
• Use it for any purpose other than what you'd reasonably expect
• Store it longer than necessary

The CAPTCHA service (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set its own cookies to verify that you're a human — this is standard and necessary to prevent spam. • Landingsite — Hosts the website and processes form submissions. Their privacy practices govern how data is stored on their platform.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — Provides CAPTCHA protection on forms to prevent spam.

If and when analytics services (like Google Analytics) are added, this policy will be updated.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Ask what personal data I hold about you
• Request that I delete your personal data
• Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time (every email includes an unsubscribe link)
